What size box suits you?
We offer veg boxes in three sizes - small, medium and large - with different vegetable portions to suit your needs and love of veg, mixing it up so there is variety, including staples such as potatoes, salad favourites, summer veg, leafy greens, herbs plus more novel items.
Weekly or fortnightly?
Choose whether you'd prefer to get your box on a weekly or fortnightly basis. You can also try out a box as a one off
What's actually in the box?
Typical veg across the season, plus herbs and surprises: Potatoes, onions, spring onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, courgettes, mixed salad leaves including for this year a trial of more than 20 types of edible flowers, cooking greens for a stir fry, carrots, beetroots, salad turnips, radishes, pumpkins, kale, chard, broccoli, rocket, spinach, garlic, leeks, celery, beans, peas plus more. NB: Some items might change on the day, we always choose the freshest and best veg!
Sliding scale pricing
In order to to suit different people’s pockets, and with the goal of improving community health and widening access to organic regenerative food, we have sliding scale pricing. Those on higher income and means can pay more to help subsidise those on lower incomes.
Delivered to your door or local collection point
On harvest days, we will pick and pack the best quality fresh seasonal veg, delivering them to your local collection point or door, so that you can get them on Fridays. There will be no charge for deliveries to collection points, while deliveries to individual houses are available at an extra cost.
More than just a veg box
By signing up, you are becoming part of something more. You can visit the farm, taste, see (and tend to) the veg. Your participation reduces food waste, as the veg has a home to go to, plus you help the farm’s cash flow so we can focus on growing. Known as Community Supported Agriculture, the model that we are inspired by creates a more direct relationship between us, the farmer, and you, the community - where responsibilities, risks and rewards are more shared and balanced.
Local small scale network
Occasionally we include some produce from local regenerative and organic farms and friends, and sometimes wider if Donegal supplies are low. Our aim is to build a network that supports local small-scale farming with the shortest supply chain through working with other producers, so that we can widen access to quality produce and create a more just and equitable food system.
